I have always loved reading, writing, and music, which led to a passion for writing poetry. At eighteen, I moved to Nashville, TN, where I interned for several music publishing companies throughout college before working full-time in Film and TV Licensing. Learning about the business side of publishing has been such a helpful part of my creative journey! 

 

Over time, I dove into all kinds of writing, drafting my first YA manuscript in college while continuing to write more poems over the years. I’ve always kept my writing mostly quiet, in part because it has been such a safe space for me. What started as a way to put emotions into words has continued to be such a special part of my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful writing community I’ve connected with over the years.

 

In 2023, I published my first poetry collection “Poetry of Us,” which includes snippets of lines from many different times throughout my writing journey. I also opened an Etsy store with notebooks designed for writers, handmade bookmarks, among other fun items. I love all things reading and writing, so sharing stories and talking about my favorite books on this website and social media has been amazing!

 

Currently, I’m writing more poetry and fiction with my favorite writing companions: my cats Summer and Storm. I’m so excited for all updates to be shared soon     Thank you!
